Students Hold Emmett Manley PARscription Golf Tournament

The UTHSC chapter of the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) held their annual Emmett Manley PARscription Golf Tournament on Oct. 3 at Stonebridge Golf Course in Lakeland, TN. Students, faculty and alumni participated in the event. The team of Nick Townsend, Bryan Jett, Josh Sullivan and Phillip Guidry claimed first place.

Nashville Students Give Back

Students on the College of Pharmacy’s Nashville campus provided flu shots to the community on September 22.  Thirty-one P2-P4 students administered 429 flu shots over 6 hours at the St. Thomas Day of Hope, Health and Healing. Students also recently held an Immunization Clinic at Volstate Community College where they administered 93 flu shots.

UTHSC Students Organize the “Race for the Summitt” 4-Miler
