On January 11, UT Health Sciences College of Pharmacy students proudly presented a $6,362 check to the Pat Summitt Foundation to honor the legacy of the legendary Lady Vol basketball coach by supporting Alzheimer’s research and awareness.
The funds were raised at the 12th Annual Race for the Summitt 5K last October, which has been held since 2013 and is student-organized and student-run, led by the college’s student organization, the American Pharmacists Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists.
