Student pharmacists in their second and third years at the College of Pharmacy recently gave their time to assist this year’s P1 class with injection technique as they work towards completing the APhA Pharmacy-based Immunization Certificate Program. The students needed to demonstrate competency in their ability to administer two inter-muscular injections and one subcutaneous injection.
UTHSC College of Pharmacy student Hunter Martin has been selected to give a podium presentation at the upcoming APhA National Meeting set to be held in Nashville, Tenn., next month. Martin, a member of the P3 class, will present along with professors Justin Gatwood and Ken Hohmeier on an economic model related to tech-check-tech.
