We are thrilled to announce that Amarinder Singh, PhD, a Postdoctoral Researcher in the lab of Bernd Meibohm, PhD, has been awarded the prestigious American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (ASCPT) Presidential Trainee Award at the 2025 Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.

This award recognizes his outstanding research, which focuses on model-based simulations for optimizing tuberculosis combination therapy. His award-winning poster, “Using Model-Based Simulations to Align Mouse Antibiotic Exposure with Human Clinical Efficacy for Exploration of Combination Therapy in Tuberculosis,” showcases an innovative approach that connects preclinical and clinical development stages for better dose optimization.
“I’m truly honored to receive the ASCPT Presidential Trainee Award for my work,” says Dr. Singh. “I’m especially thankful to my mentor, Dr. Bernd Meibohm, for his invaluable guidance and continued support throughout this project. Developing an exposure-matched dose selection approach to bridge preclinical and clinical stages has been a deeply enriching experience that strengthened both my scientific perspective and modeling skills. Above all, I’m grateful for the opportunity to share our work with the broader scientific community and to contribute to the evolving role of pharmacometrics modeling in translational research.”
Join us in congratulating Dr. Singh for this remarkable achievement!
