We had a spectacular time in Nashville, Tennessee, at the APhA Annual Meeting from March 21-24, where student pharmacists and pharmacists gathered from across the country.
It was an exciting weekend filled with opportunities to meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and learn about exciting advancements in the pharmacy profession.
Our chapter excelled and was awarded the APhA-ASP National Patient Care Award, as well as the 2nd runner-up titles for both Operation Immunization and Operation Substance Abuse.
“I am proud of our chapter for the hard work everyone has put into our APhA-ASP chapter this past year,” says Mary Zetterberg, president of the APhA-ASP at UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy and APhA-ASP Region 3 MRMC. “It is amazing to see all of our hard work exemplified by the national awards we received!”
