Huge Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
On May 12, we celebrated a night filled with joy, nostalgia, heartfelt hugs, and a few happy tears as the UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy proudly graduated 124 new pharmacists!
A special shoutout to our inspiring featured speaker, Shanea A. McKinney, PharmD (Trustee for The University of Tennessee System), a proud UTHSC College of Pharmacy graduate, for sharing her journey with us! We also extend our gratitude to Kara Fortune, PharmD (UTHSC College of Pharmacy Alumni Board Director), for discussing the positive impact of joining and engaging with the Alumni community. We also thank the UTHSC College of Pharmacy Student Services Department, faculty, staff, and all volunteers for ensuring the event ran seamlessly.
This remarkable class featured 31 certificate recipents (nineteen in Rural Health, four in Nuclear Pharmacy, and eight in Health Informatics and Information Management) and 15 dual-degree recipients (three Master’s of Public Health, eight Master’s of Business Management, one Master of Science in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership, and three Master’s in Health Informatics and Information Management).
Congrats once again to the Class of 2025! We can’t wait to see the amazing paths you will take!
