Madeline Matheson Awarded the College of Pharmacy’s Inaugural Professionalism Award

|

We’re thrilled to announce that P3 student Madeline Matheson has been awarded the College of Pharmacy’s very first professionalism award!

Her dedication to the UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy’s mission shines through her involvement as a senior officer in a student organization, her role on the admissions committee, her research work, and her internship at St. Jude.

In August 2024, Madeline served as the Head Orientation Leader, demonstrating respect and professionalism. She delivered a well-received presentation on study skills for incoming students, emphasizing respect for peers, faculty, and effective time management. Feedback from students and faculty highlighted her positive impact and leadership.

The Best Practices of Professionalism award acknowledges acts like patient advocacy, great teamwork, and innovative thinking that go beyond the call of duty.

Congratulations, Madeline, for demonstrating the professionalism and strong work ethic that exemplifies the students of the UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy!
