Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate student, Hyunseo Park, was recently awarded the Presidential Trainee Award at the ASCPT Annual Meeting held on March 27-29 in Colorado Springs. This prestigious award is given to scholars with the top-scoring abstracts, as identified by the ASCPT Scientific Programming Committee. During the Presidential Trainee Showcase on March 27, attendees and ASCPT member experts had the opportunity to view the top posters and interact with the award-winning trainees.

Hyunseo’s presentation, entitled “Development of a Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) Model to Evaluate the Therapeutic Potential of Anti-CD19 CAR-T in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE),” detailed how Park and his team developed a QSP model to inform the potential application of CD19 CAR T cell therapy in autoimmune disease.
