Dr. Tinia D. Harris, a former PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident, received the New Practitioner Recognition Award from the Pharmacy Practice Section of the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition at their annual meeting in March 2024 in Tampa, FL. Dr. Harris was recognized for her PGY2 critical care residency research project titled “Evaluation of a novel enteral phosphorus therapy during an intravenous phosphorus shortage.” Dr. Roland Dickerson served as her mentor and Drs. Julie Farrar, Whitney Holmes, Saskya Byerly, and Dina Filiberto from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Regional One Health were co-investigators. It is worth noting that this award has been given to a UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy/Regional One Health critical care trainee for the eighth time since its inception in 2012.
