On February 16, the P3 Pinning ceremony was held to celebrate the successful completion of didactic coursework by the third-year students at UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy. The ceremony marked the start of their advanced practice experience portion of the curriculum.
We want to express our gratitude to Dr. Ken Hohmeier and Dr. James Wheeler for their support in the pinning ceremonies at their respective locations. We also thank our esteemed faculty members, Dr. Rachel Barenie, Dr. Tracy Hagemann, Dr. Leslie Hamilton, and Dr. Dawn Havrda, whom our students chose to pin them during the event. Lastly, a special thank you to Dr. Chris Finch for delivering a great speech and sharing valuable insights on how our graduates can excel in the experiential portion of our curriculum.
