As we approach the season of joy, family, and gratitude, I want to reflect on some accomplishments of our college’s faculty, staff, and students.
- Researchers at the College of Pharmacy continue to add to the incredible research portfolio that has placed UTHSC College of Pharmacy at #6 in grant funding from the National Institutes of Health among all pharmacy colleges.
- Ranked among the Top 20 pharmacy schools in the country, our faculty and students have worked tirelessly to build upon the 125-year-old legacy of premier education established by the college. Our students continue to do amazing things and have been recognized with well-deserved awards and honors.
- The annual Feurt Symposium on October 18 highlighted the potential application of artificial intelligence in pharmacy. The use of AI in pharmacy is an exciting prospect that has the potential to transform the field. I’m glad the symposium remains a leading event highlighting pharmacy innovation.
The UTHSC College of Pharmacy has always been at the forefront of research, education, and clinical excellence. As the Dean of this great institution, I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for the collective efforts that make the UTHSC College of Pharmacy a place of inspiration and achievement. I feel honored to work with our faculty, students, and staff to build upon the foundation of 125 years of premiere research, education, and patient care that has benefited Tennesseans and beyond.
