Dear faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends,
The month of May is traditionally a time of celebration, reflection, and transition for the College of Pharmacy. May 2022 is no different.
First, we celebrate the College of Pharmacy’s Class of 2022 and wish them all the best as they move forward in their careers.
We also congratulate Dr. Tyler Melton and Dr. Rachel Barenie for their Excellence in Teaching Awards.
I was very excited to hear the wonderful news from our Knoxville campus about the tremendous success of our APhA-Association of Student Pharmacists (ASP) CPR committee in providing life-saving training to members of the community.
Finally, I want to congratulate Dr. Wei Li and Dr. Duane Miller for being recognized in the Daily Memphian for their work on a new drug treatment for the sickest COVID patients.
It has been a true privilege serving as your Dean, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of such an amazing group of people for over ten years. Thank you.
