Megan Sensmeier, a P4 student on the College of Pharmacy’s Nashville campus, was awarded the Lyndon Haviland Student Assembly Annual Meeting Scholarship on behalf of the American Public Health Association (APHA).
She serves on the communication and student committee within the APHA Pharmacy Section and is working on an emergency preparedness poster to present at the 2021 International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) World Conference in Seville, Spain. Sensmeier was also elected as the Student Liaison for the Pharmacy Section of the APHA.
“I am very honored to receive the Lyndon Haviland Student Assembly Annual Meeting Scholarship and look forward to attending the APHA Annual Meeting this October to learn more about pharmacy’s role in public health,” Sensmeier said.
