Dr. Alina Cernasev, assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science, was elected as chair-elect for the Pharmacy Section of the American Public Health Association (APHA). Her one-year term as chair-elect will start immediately after the APHA meeting in October 2020. After that year, she will serve as chair of the Pharmacy Section for one year.
“I look forward to collaborating with researchers, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals in the public health arena to create the healthiest nation in one generation,” Dr. Cernasev said.
