Chelsea Renfro, PharmD, assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science, completed the “Leading for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in High Education” program this month.
The course was offered through Coursera and covered topics related to equity, diversity, and inclusion, such as leadership, bias of consciousness, contested discourse, and strategic diversity planning.
“I highly recommend this course, especially for anyone in a leadership position,” Dr. Renfro said. “I learned a lot, and the exercises I completed were very applicable to what we are experiencing today.”
