Dean Marie A. Chisholm-Burns created a new scholarship to award student excellence on the Pharmacy Curriculum Outcomes Assessment® (PCOA) exam. P3 students who scored in the 80th percentile or higher received a personally signed letter from the Dean and three students received a special scholarship that will be awarded in the Fall 2019 semester. The recipients of the PCOA scholarship are:
- Taylor Gregory
- Logan Pickett
- Jared Veal
“Our students are some of the brightest in the nation who show their potential every day, and we want to recognize and facilitate that,” said Dean Chisholm-Burns. “We want future classes to strive for even greater heights.”
The PCOA® is a comprehensive tool developed by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) to provide an independent, objective, and external measure of student performance in United States pharmacy curricula.
