The UTHSC College of Pharmacy hosted its annual Feurt Symposium in Memphis on Oct. 3. The topic of this year’s symposium was “Resilience and Grit in Pharmacy: Perspectives from Academic and Practice Leaders.” The College welcomed Alex Varkey, PharmD, MS, FAPhA and T. Kristopher Harrell, PharmD, MA, FASHP as guest speakers for the event. Dr. Varkey is the Director of Pharmacy Services at Houston Methodist Hospital and Dr. Harrell is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy.
