The UTHSC College of Pharmacy celebrated the retirement of Dr. Stephanie Phelps on June 15. Dr. Phelps leaves the College after a 36-year career with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy, of which more than 25 years she also served as our APhA-ASP Chapter Advisor. She has continued to make a significant impact on the quality of our pharmacy program and has influenced countless student pharmacists in both their education, leadership and professional development.
The Dr. Stephanie Phelps Endowed Scholarship fund was initiated as a perpetual recognition for her devotion to the College. To date, a total of over $50,000 in gifts and pledges have been received to honor Dr. Phelps.
