UTHSC Students Complete AHA ACLS Mega Code Check Off

Twenty-four UTHSC College of Pharmacy P3 students successfully completed their American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Mega Code Check Off in March. The students participated in a month-long elective in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). The elective culminated in a mega-code skills test where each student had to serve as a team leader and successfully run a code in a simulated setting. All 24 students received ACLS certification that is good for two years.

The 24 students who completed the class were: Yusef Akbik, Manuel Alonso, Sarah Burnette, Rachel Chassan, Mckenna Childress, Brad Crihfield, Julie Farrar, Cameron Faulk, Katelyn Garner, Samantha Hall, Deanna Joo, Connor Martin, Coty Martin, Sara Nimer, Madison Pardue, Michael Pittman, Geoff Putney, Katherine Robinson, Melissa Slayton, Alison Stonecipher, An Vo, Kristen Wilhite, Justine Wilson and Timothy Zaske.
