Dean Marie Chisholm-Burns accepted a Walgreens Diversity Donation on behalf of the College of Pharmacy in December. The funds will be used to support the College’s student recruitment efforts and attendance to events focused on inclusivity/diversity initiatives, as well as to provide qualified deserving students with scholarship awards.
For many years, Walgreens has shown a strong commitment to supporting programs and initiatives which foster diversity and inclusion within the pharmacy profession and the communities they serve. Since 2008, Walgreens has donated over $1 Million annually to support diversity initiatives at schools and colleges of pharmacy nationwide.
