Dr. Santosh Kumar, Associate Professor in the department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, spoke to all the science students at Collierville High School in April. During the three lectures, Dr. Kumar spoke about Professional and Graduate Programs in the Health Science field and his research on HIV/AIDS and Drugs of Abuse. “My goal was to inspire students about their future, educate about the health science profession, graduate research in particular, and promote the health sciences including pharmacy and graduate programs at UTHSC,” Kumar said. According to Collierville High School, between 150-160 students attended each session.
