UTHSC Employee Appreciation Day

The Annual UTHSC Employee Appreciation Day, sponsored by the Chancellor’s Office, was held on October 30, 2015 at the Health Sciences Park in Memphis. Employees enjoyed food, drinks, and desserts at the event, and received long-sleeve t-shirts bearing the slogan for the event, October Fun Fall Festival. Employees were greeted with a ‘welcome lane’ full of hay bales, pumpkins, flowers, and ‘pumpkin people’ representing the various colleges. They had the opportunity to enter contests displaying their artistic abilities in areas such as painting, knitting, and crocheting. There were also games, activities, and a DJ providing music. Brenda Thornton and Corliss Finlay (pictured) enjoyed the photo booth props, and Brenda said, “It was a beautiful day, and everyone had a great time.”
