On August 28, 2015, the Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony was held across all three campuses in Memphis, Nashville and Knoxville. The ceremony honored students for their hard work and to thank donors for their contributions to the college’s scholarship fund. These scholarships recognize students who not only excel in academics but also in professional leadership and community involvement. Scholarship endowments provided approximately $238,250 in scholarships this year. The college also awarded approximately $1.3 million in diversity scholarships. A total of 55 scholarships were awarded at the ceremony and many scholarships had multiple recipients for each award. Special thanks to Dean Chisholm-Burns, Drs. Byrd, Hagemann, Shelton, Freeman, the donors, and other faculty members and guests for their participation and presence at this important ceremony.
