Race for the Summitt – 4 Miler

The second annual Knoxville Race for the Summitt 4-Miler organized by the UTHSC College of Pharmacy’s American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) chapter is set for October 31, 2015 at 9 am Eastern Time. The race is a run/walk that will start and finish at Circle Park on the University of Tennessee, Knoxville undergraduate campus. The purpose of the Race for the Summitt is to benefit The Pat Summitt Foundation. The Pat Summitt Foundation was founded by legendary head coach of the Lady Volunteers basketball team, Pat Summitt, who was recently diagnosed with early onset dementia. The purpose of The Pat Summitt Foundation is to provide education and research for Alzheimer’s disease. Please join us in “Backing Pat” in her fight against this devastating disease that affects millions of Americans.
