Dr. Jonathan Bain (’11), is a Critical Care pharmacy specialist at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Bain was recognized for his outstanding work in critical care pharmacy in the May 2016 Member Spotlight report of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP).
Upon recognition, Dr. Bain credited his initial decision to join ACCP to the influence from his UT College of Pharmacy mentors: G. Christopher Wood, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS-AQ ID; Bradley Boucher, PharmD, FCCP, FCCM and P. David Rogers, PharmD, PhD. Bain also noted, “I hope it stresses the importance of professional mentors, I have only gotten this far by surrounding myself by them and always striving to be more like them. If you shoot for the stars and miss at least you will land among the stars.”
