Franks and ACCP Offer TBL Webinar
Andrea Franks, PharmD, BCPS, associate professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine, presented a webinar on team-based learning (TBL), on January 21, 2015. This webinar highlighted the benefits of integrating TBL into the pharmacy curriculum and a brief overview of TBL. Dr. Franks explained the key components of TBL, including team formation, the readiness assurance process, and team application exercises. She also discussed perceived barriers and potential solutions for TBL.
