Richard Brown, BS, PharmD, FASHP retired this year after a 40-year career with the Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, Memphis and the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. There is likely no other clinical educator in Tennessee who has taught and mentored the number of students and residents as Dr. Brown. Even though the numbers of trainees and student pharmacists are unprecedented, the quality of education is what really has influenced so many in their formative stages. The college has raised $27,125 to endow a scholarship to honor Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown has been important to the college and we hope that you will join us in honoring him.
