Congratulations to Santosh Kumar, PhD, for being awarded a UT Research Foundation Maturation Grant! This grant will support Dr. Kumar’s project: Novel Extracellular Vesicles-Liposomes (EV-Lip)-Based Intranasal Drug Delivery Technology for Neuronal Diseases.
The project aims to develop a new technology to deliver drugs and nutraceuticals directly to the brain in order to combat neuronal diseases, with a focus on HIV-associated neuroinflammation, which leads to HIV-associated neurocognitive disorders (HAND).
