UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy staff attended a retreat on May 13-14, where they gained career development insights from Crystal R. Oliver (from FedEx) and Quela Graham and Anesha Jones (from UT Health Science Center Human Resources). The retreat also featured team-building activities, including an escape room board game. Staff from all UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy campuses across Tennessee (Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville) attended the retreat.

Crystal R. Oliver is well-respected for her leadership at the world’s largest express transportation company, FedEx, as Vice President of the Memphis World Hub. She shared the challenges she faced while advancing from an employee at a FedEx Hub to becoming the first African American Female vice-president at the company.

Quela Graham (Human Resources Coordinator, CAP Study Group Coordinator, College of Medicine, Pediatrics) and Anesha Jones (Director of Employment and Records, Human Resources) provided guidance on the requirements and process of the Certified Administration Professional certification.
Thank you to our presenters for their valuable advice!
