May was the month of celebrating the Class of 2023. At the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in Memphis, the Class of 2023 capped off years of hard work and dedication as they walked across the stage to receive their Doctor of Pharmacy degrees. They are no longer pharmacy students but members of the Pharmacy profession.
“I am proud to welcome the Class of 2023 into the pharmacy profession,” said Bradley Boucher, Interim Dean. “Their tenacity, steadfast dedication, and commitment to their education is culminated by this moment they all deserve.”
Prior to their commencement ceremony, several graduates and their guests were invited to an Awards Luncheon for the Class of 2023 Award recipients who have demonstrated outstanding performance in scholarship, leadership, research, and service. Over the last 4 years, they have put forth a tremendous amount of effort and this ceremony celebrated their academic achievements as they begin their professional careers.
