Hamilton receives Diversity and Inclusion Mini-Grant

Leslie Hamilton, PharmD, FCCP, FCCM, BCPS, BCCCP, associate professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science, received a Diversity and Inclusion Mini-Grant from the UTHSC Office of Equity and Diversity.

Hamilton received the mini-grant for her proposal, “Increasing Diversity in Residencies and Fellowships in Pharmacy.” She will work on this proposal alongside four other College of Pharmacy faculty and staff members: Eric Bailey II, EdD, MBA, director of equity, diversity and inclusion; Dawn Havrda, PharmD, BCPS, FCCP, associate dean of academic affairs and assessment; Kalon Owens-Jones, student affairs coordinator; and Chasity Shelton, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS, BCPPS, assistant dean for student success.

“I am so excited to receive this grant to expand opportunities as part of our residency preparation program to a more diverse group of students,” Dr. Hamilton said.
