Boucher nominated for UT President’s Award

|

Bradley Boucher, PharmD, FCCP, MCCM, FNAP, professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science and associate dean for strategic initiatives, was one of five UTHSC faculty and staff members nominated for the University of Tennessee President’s Awards.

The President’s Award is the highest honor a University of Tennessee employee can receive, and honorees are nominated by campus leaders across the UT system. The awards are intended to spotlight success and inspire excellence, and they are presented for contributions to five areas that support the University of Tennessee mission: Educate, Discover, Connect, Support, and Diversity. Dr. Boucher was nominated in the Educate category.

Dr. Boucher established a clinical educational training site in critical care pharmacy at Regional One Health that continues to thrive with critical care pharmacists and other health care providers. He has been published extensively and is a sought-after lecturer on cutting-edge topics relating to academic pharmacy. Dr. Boucher consistently receives high student evaluations and a successfully high rate of his students further their career as faculty within the profession.

“I am proud to see Brad nominated for this prestigious and well-deserved award,” said College of Pharmacy Dean Marie Chisholm-Burns. “His commitment to the students and the profession of pharmacy is an example to other pharmacy educators and faculty across the University of Tennessee.”
