Hassan Almoazen, PhD, and Kirk Hevener, PhD, PharmD, received Excellence in Teaching Awards for 2020 from the UTHSC Student Government Association Executive Council (SGAEC).
Dr. Almoazen serves as associate professor and director of Pharmaceutical Sciences PhD and Dual Degree PharmD/PhD Programs. Dr. Hevener, PhD, PharmD, serves as assistant professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Winners of the awards are selected by the students or their college and vetted by each college’s SGAEC representative. Winners received a plaque and a $2,500 stipend.
