Students from the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) presented a check for $10,500 to the Pat Summitt Foundation at the Lady Vols’ annual “We Back Pat” game Jan. 26. The money was raised at the annual Race for the Summitt 4-Miler last September in Knoxville, and will be used to advance research for prevention and a cure of Alzheimer’s disease.
