Dr. Chelsea Renfro, assistant professor and coordinator of Simulation-Based Education, has earned the international Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) credential from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
Dr. Renfro became the first pharmacy faculty member in Tennessee to receive the certification. In order to be certified, she passed an exam that assesses knowledge and understanding of the principles, processes, and fundamentals for developing and delivering high quality healthcare simulation activities.
Additionally, Dr. Renfro received the Service Award from the Pharmacy Affinity Group at the 2020 International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare.
