AACP Institute addresses student well-being

|

Members of the College of Pharmacy learned strategies for addressing student well-being at the 2019 American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Spring Institute.

Chasity Shelton, assistant dean for student success, said the institute presented data highlighting the need for well-being to be incorporated into daily college workflow.

“Our College remains committed to the well-being of its students, and this is one additional way we can ensure our students have the tools and support they need to be successful,” Shelton said. “Our team was able to spend time brainstorming and creating the framework for incorporation into the pharmacy curriculum and implementation of activities beneficial for faculty and staff.”

Team members who attended included Shelton, Tracy Hagemann, Santosh Kumar, Jennifer Schoelles, Joseph Swanson, and Michael Veve.
