Kenneth Hohmeier, PharmD, Associate Professor and Director of Community Affairs, was interviewed for a feature article in PharmacyToday focused on the expansion of point-of-care testing (POCT) in community pharmacies in Tennessee. In the article, Dr. Hohmeier highlighted the College’s new curricular integration of the POCT certificate in reference to how one of our recent graduates, and current PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residents, is implementing a new POCT program at Kroger in Memphis thanks to that training.
