Dr. Sam Li, Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science, received a grant from the EuroQol Research Foundation to study quality of life in pediatric patients with arthritis and leukemia. The grant, totaling approximately $34,000, will fund Dr. Li’s research study through December 2019.
According to Dr. Li, “the goal of this study is to examine the feasibility, reliability, and validity of different quality of life instruments in the pediatric population.”
The EuroQol Research Foundation exists to serve the public interest by supporting, instigating and performing scientific research. Their focus is on the development of instruments that describe and value health outside the for-profit model.
