College of Pharmacy Recognized at UTRF Innovation Awards

The University of Tennessee the College of Pharmacy received several recognitions from the University of Tennessee Research Foundation (UTRF). The College was well represented with at least one of the College’s faculty member included in 15 of the 18 patents recently issued to UTHSC investigators. Those individuals are: Drs. Wei Li, (professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences), Duane Miller (professor emeritus, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences), Ryan Yates (professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences), and Frank Park (associate professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences).

Additionally, the College had at least one faculty member included in four of the six teams with Recently Licensed Technologies.  Those individuals are: Drs. Subhash Chauhan (professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences), Meena Jaggi (associate professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences), Duane Miller (professor emeritus, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences), Frank Park (associate professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences), and Ryan Yates (professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences).  Lastly, Dr. Michio Kurosu (professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences) received one of four 2019 UTRF Maturation Grants and also served as Spotlight Presenter of the reception.
