The fifth-annual Race for the Summitt 4-Miler was held in Knoxville on Sept. 30. The event, organized by Michael Behal (P3, Knoxville) and the Knoxville branch of the College’s APhA-ASP chapter raised over $5,000 for The Pat Summitt Foundation.
The Pat Summitt Foundation was founded by the legendary head coach of the Lady Vols Basketball team, Coach Pat Summitt, to promote education and research for Alzheimer’s disease. The race course features a 4-mile tour of the UTK campus, where Coach Summitt established her legacy. Show your support for Coach Summitt by running or walking in next year’s race and asking friends and family members to become Memory Donors. Please join us in “Backing Pat!”
