The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy held its graduation ceremony on May 3, 2018 at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis. Dean Marie A. Chisolm-Burns presided over the ceremony and the commencement address was given by Dr. Anne Lin, the Founding Dean and Professor of the School of Pharmacy at Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore, MD.
Drs. Leslie Hamilton and Shaun Rowe presented the 158 PharmD graduates with their academic hoods before they received their diplomas from Dean Chisholm-Burns. Following the presentation of diplomas, Dr. Chasity Shelton led the presentation of awards with assistance from faculty and special guests.
At the ceremony, the Memphis Class President Kyle Herndon presented the 2018 Class Gift of $2981.68 to Dean Chisholm-Burns.
