The College of Pharmacy was well represented at the 2016 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) Annual Meeting and Exposition in Denver from November 12-17. During the meeting, several College of Pharmacy faculty and students presented and/or received awards. They are as follows:
Dr. Bernd Meibohm, Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Programs and Interim Chair, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, led a presentation titled “Clinical Pharmacology Experiences with Innovative Hepatitis C Combination Therapies.”
Poster presentations by: Pallabita Chowdhury, Sri Chandana Damera, Arif Rahman, Chetan Rathi, Saini Setua, and Shajila Siricilla.

On Monday, November 14, the College of Pharmacy hosted the “UT Alumni and Friends reception” at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The reception was attended by several people, including some of our current faculty, adjunct faculty, previous faculty, current students and alumni.
