On Friday, April 15, 2016, Kenneth Sykes, PharmD/MHIIM candidate, represented The University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy at a career fair hosted by Grandview Heights Middle School. The career fair was held for 8th grade students. Kenneth described the field of pharmacy for the studentsĀ and answered their questions. He also spoke on requirements for admissionĀ to pharmacy school as well as the responsibilities of a pharmacist. Sykes demonstrated how to accurately take blood pressures and how to compound a medication for the students.
