On March 24, 2016, Dean Marie Chisholm-Burns was named the G. Van Greene Distinguished Lecturer at Mercer University. Her lecture was entitled “Research in Practice: Pharmacists’ Value in Providing Patient Care.” The distinguished lectureship is named in honor of Dr. G. Van Greene, one of Mercer College of Pharmacy’s most loyal and staunch supporters. The lectureship program is designed to bring in world-renowned health care professionals to discuss contemporary topics in pharmacy.
