Dr. Shelley White-Means recently participated in the Sister Pact Health Fair on August 29, 2015. Sister Pact was founded to help raise awareness of breast health among African-American women in Memphis. The Sister Pact community education program will help urge regular mammograms to target a wide racial disparity in breast cancer death rates in Memphis. More than 20 organizations have joined the Sister Pact program including the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) to help raise awareness. We thank Dr. Shelley White-Means for all of her efforts in working with the Sister Pact and for representing the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy at the health fair. Dr. White-Means is a professor of Economics in the Health Outcomes and Policy Research Division in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at UTHSC.
