|

PDC group

Brothers of the Omega chapter of Phi Delta Chi at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy attended the 70th Grand Council meeting from August 4-8 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Fifteen collegiate chapter Brothers and three alumni Brothers traveled to represent the chapter. Josh Caballero, PharmD (’01) had the distinct honor of facilitating professional development roundtable sessions, while Kirk Hevener, PharmD (’05) served as the Omega chapter alumni delegate. At this landmark meeting, the Omega chapter received several accolades for their efforts over the past year, including a fifth place ranking in brotherhood and a second place ranking in chapter publication. Competing against more than 80 chapters nationwide, Omega placed eighth overall, a twelve-point rise from the previous year. This is the first time the chapter has climbed into the top 10 since 2010. These rankings represent the hard work and dedication of the Brothers, as well as the guidance and leadership of alumni Brothers and faculty advisors.
