At the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA, P3 Lauren Bode (pictured left) was one of four students nationwide to receive the APhA Student Leadership Award. Each year schools and colleges of pharmacy with active APhA-ASP chapters nominate one student who demonstrates great academic achievement and leadership ability. This prestigious accolade is then awarded to four select students from across the nation.
In an exciting race, Lauren also was elected to serve as the 2015-2016 APhA-ASP National Speaker of the House. This election follow’s Lauren’s year of service as Region III Delegate. As chapter Vice President of Legislative Affairs, working with our APhA-ASP chapter on becoming involved in policy and advocacy of our profession, we know from experience Lauren will represent us well!
