Dr. Vivian Loveless, associate professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and course director for the Nuclear Pharmacy Program, has received an $18,561 gift from Jubilant DraxImage, Inc. The gift provides radiopharmaceutical kits to be used in laboratory training for nuclear pharmacy students. Student pharmacists will radiolabel the products and perform quality control tests on the radiolabeled compound. Student pharmacists will also be able to practice aseptically drawing doses from these radiolabeled pharmaceuticals. It is an honor to receive such a generous gift, and the nuclear pharmacy students are excited to begin using them.
