The University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy Christian Pharmacist’s Fellowship International (CPFI) student chapter held their first meeting of the semester this past September. Students from the inaugural meeting last spring were excited to welcome such a large number of enthusiastic first year students. Dr. Bill Greene, Chief Pharmaceutical Officer at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, graciously came to share how his faith has shaped his pharmacy practice. Members discussed prospective service opportunities for the upcoming academic year. Both Memphis and Knoxville campuses are planning outreach and fellowship opportunities. The upcoming meetings for the remainder of the semester will be on November 5 and December 3. If you are interested in becoming involved with CPFI and receiving updates on scheduled events, please contact either Ashley Kwasigroh (akwasigr@uthsc.edu) or Christopher McCown (cmccown@uthsc.edu).
