The College of Pharmacy is pleased to welcome a new faculty member; Dr. Justin Gatwood. Dr. Gatwood received a BA in Economics from Cornell University, a MPH from Ohio State University College of Public Health, and a PhD from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy in Social and Administrative Pharmacy. Prior to accepting the faculty position at UT, Dr. Gatwood was a Senior Analyst for Truven Health Analytics specializing in health outcomes and economics. At Truven Health Analytics, his clientele included pharmaceutical and bio-technical companies. Dr. Gatwood also has sales and marketing experience working for Sanofi-Aventis US Pharmaceuticals. At the University, Dr. Gatwood will continue to do research on health outcomes and economics, focusing on examining mobile health and informatics applications for medication use, as well as testing emerging technologies and interventions on improving medication adherence.
